What to expect

A one-hour guided tour reveals the scale and intricacy of Jewel Cave. Exploring three vast chambers, students will encounter towering crystal formations and delicate stalactites that have taken thousands of years to form. Guides use lighting to highlight features such as stalagmites, stalactites, straws, and shawls, and share insights into the formation of cave systems, fascinating historical anecdotes, and the ancient tales of Tasmanian Tigers that once fell into the cave.
