What to expect

Learn about early explorers and first settlers. Hear the tales of when oceans were highways and the discovery of wild Cape Leeuwin.

Students are entertained and intrigued by the stories of the spectacular and harsh environment experienced by the first Europeans to sight, shipwreck and settle amongst this unique landscape.

A private tour of the lighthouse allows students to gaze out to the point where two great oceans meet. They can then explore the interpretive centre, housed in one of the original lighthouse keepers’ cottages, to learn about the history and lives of the lighthouse keepers who guarded this rugged coastline.
