About Capes Foundation

Capes Foundation manages eight significant sites that showcase the natural beauty and cultural heritage of the Margaret River Region: Ngilgi, Lake, Mammoth, and Jewel Caves, Cape Naturaliste and Cape Leeuwin Lighthouses, Capes Raptor Centre, and Forest Adventures.

As a division of the Margaret River Busselton Tourism Association (MRBTA), we are committed to sustaining and sharing the region’s rich environment, history, and culture. This commitment is demonstrated through the responsible management of our Capes Foundation attractions to ensure that these precious places are protected, celebrated, and enjoyed for generations to come.

Our Role in the Region

Capes Foundation is dedicated to ensuring that tourism benefits both people and place. Every visit to our experiences directly contributes to the restoration, conservation, and protection of the unique places in our care. By connecting people to these remarkable places, we inspire a deeper appreciation for their protection and ensure their stories continue to be told.

Conservation & Restoration

We are committed to protecting and improving the natural and heritage assets in our care. Through restoration programs, wildlife rehabilitation, and active conservation, we help ensure these places remain healthy and resilient for future generations.

Education & Interpretation

The more we understand, the more we care. Our guided tours, interpretive displays, and education programs bring the stories of this land to life—deepening connections to the region’s natural wonders, rich history, and the enduring cultural heritage of the Wadandi people.
